The flyover will start near the Flatted Factory and EPIP Complex of UPSIDA and go up to Site 5. Commuters will not have to travel through Pari Chowk to reach Site 5.
The flyover to connect Greater Noida’s industrial sector Site-5 and EPIP Kasna will be ready by March next year. Apart from linking these two sectors, this flyover will also join the flattened factory complex to Greater Noida, Noida and Delhi. After its construction, the commuters to Site-5 and EPIP via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will not have to travel through Pari Chowk. It will be a direct route to reach Site-5 IPIP and the Flattened Factory Complex.
The 400-meter-long flyover connecting two industrial sectors of Surajpur is a three-lane flyover. This flyover is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 18.4 crore. The construction work which started in December last year is almost 70 per cent complete. It is worth noting that there is always a traffic jam at Pari Chowk and Kasna. People passing through here waste 20 to 30 minutes due to the traffic. In such a situation, this flyover will save people from the jam and also save time.
According to a report in Times of India, this flyover will start near the Flatted Factory and EPIP Complex of UP State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) and will go up to Site 5, which is located near Savitri Bai Phule Inter College.
UPSIDA Senior Manager Naveen Kumar Jain says that with the construction of this flyover, vehicles going to Noida via Kasna and Pari Chowk will get a direct route and this will reduce traffic at both these places.
Commuters from the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will be able to reach Site 5 directly via the underpass near Galgotias College and the service lane of the Yamuna Expressway. Hence, avoiding congested intersections. This new route will also improve access for residents of nearby villages.
It will also connect to the service lane of the Yamuna Expressway. PK Tiwari, founder member of the Industrial Entrepreneurs Association, says that there are often heavy traffic jams in Kasna Market. “After the flyover is built, it will provide an alternative route, which will connect to the service lane of the Yamuna Expressway and then also connect to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway,” said PK Tiwari as quoted by Times Of India.
